  • To try and keep up with the Renault 4 that had overtaken the 2CV in sales, Citroën brought out in 1967 the Dyane, and the following year the Dyane 6, equipped with an Ami 6 engine. Taking the same chassis as the 2CV and several of its components, the Dyane was cheap to build, and not far off 1.5 million units were produced until 1983.
