In 1997, former motocross rider Jean-Pierre van de Wauwer swapped his Peugeot 106 for the already legendary 306 Maxi. He entered the 1997 Condroz Rally with it, and up against an armada of WRC and Group A cars, he managed to finish 9th overall and win his class. This strong performance paved his way to the national title, which he claimed in 1998. This yellow 306 Maxi became a piece of Belgian rally history and is finally available in 1/18 scale!
