Alain Oreille was an official Renault driver between 1984 and 1994. In 1989, he competed in the World Rally Championship in the Group N category. Behind the wheel of his small Renault 5 GT Turbo, he became world champion. During the 1989 season, he won three rallies in his class: Monte-Carlo, Côte d’Ivoire, and the legendary Tour de Corse!
