ALPINE A110 – RALLY MONTECARLO HISTORIQUE 2018

After having patiently waited for years, the presentation of the Alpine A110 First Edition delight fans everywhere. The new berlinette, heavily inspired by the original Alpine, has made multiple appearances since then. During the historic Monte Carlo Rally, a copy was entrusted to Chris Harris, presenter of the Top Gear show, accompanied by Eddie Jordan, former boss of the eponymous F1 team. The publicity stunt had a huge impact but ended in tears. A fuel leak caused a fire and the two passengers had just enough time to get out of the Alpine before witnessing its destruction by fire. This highly publicized incident would not affect Alpine’s sales, whose short career has, for the moment, been a success.
