BUGATTI TYPE 57 SC ATLANTIC – BLACK – 1937

Ref : S1802101
(1 customer review)

The Bugatti Atlantic was part of the Type 57 series. The SC version adopted the nomenclature Bugatti for ‘Surbaissé’ (lowered) and Compressor. It was derived from the Type 57 S, but made good use of a compressor to push the horsepower from 175 to 200. Incredible for the era, Ettore Bugatti’s creation was capable of reaching 190 km/h. This pre-war gem only saw 3 units produced. Today, the car is worth between 30 and 40 millions euros minimum.

Solido has made a budget priced scale model of one of the worlds most prized and valuable cars. CMC and Auto Art both have produced much more detailed versions of this same cars, but their versions cost over three hundred dollars more than the Solido model. I have models of these cars from CMC, Auto Art and Solido. At a price of about fifty dollars, you can’t go wrong with the Solido! Very highly recommended!
