PORSCHE 911 RSR – 1000KM SPA 1973 – J.FITZPATRICK #46
Ref : S1801110
As desirable as its cousins bearing the Martini livery, this Porsche 911 2.8 RSR from Kremer Racing in 1973 quickly became the official representative of the Porsche brand in terms of endurance. At the beginning of the season in 1973, the Kremer stables received two new Porsche 911 RSR. The duo quickly became a force to be reckoned with, being leaps and bounds ahead of the previous 911 S. It notably allowed the team to take home the GT championship after beating the factory-made Ford Capri. The victorious chassis was repurchased following the win, and participated in two editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans as well as the Tour de France 1975 and several coastal races, proving it was both reliable and highly adaptable.
