Pour la première saison de l’Opel Omega en DTM, quelques équipes privées choisissent la nouvelle arme du constructeur allemand. C’est le cas du Team Schübel qui, avec Peter Oberndorfer, se paye le luxe de terminer devant les pilotes « officiels ». Ce résultat, on le doit à une belle sixième place du pilote lors de la course 2 sur le circuit d’Alemannenring.
For the first season of the Opel Omega in the DTM, some private teams chose the new weapon of the German manufacturer. This is the case of the Schübel team which, with Peter Oberndorfer, has the luxury of finishing ahead of the “official” drivers. This result is due to a good sixth place of the driver during race 2 on the Alemannenring circuit.
