After competing in rallying and Formula 1, Alpine took on a new challenge: endurance racing in the premier Hypercar category. Since 2024, the French manufacturer has been racing the Alpine A424. In 2025, car No. 36, driven by Jules Gounon, Frédéric Makowiecki, and Mick Schumacher, secured two consecutive podium finishes before returning to the points at the Interlagos circuit in Brazil.
