CITROËN TRACTION 11B – NOIR – 1937

Ref : S1800903
(1 customer review)

When it came out in 1934, the CitroEn Traction was a revolution. With front-wheel drive, its mono-shelled structure, hydraulic breaks, and its independent wheels, it surprised everyone and made the competition look ridiculous. Its reputation stemmed from exceptional handling on the road and luxurious comfort. This large sedan would make French history by first being the car of the Gestapo before becoming the icon of the Resistance. Becoming a symbol of freedom and peace, it was also appreciated by many a gangster for its performances.

The detail is phenomenal, my only criticism is that the prewar 11B has RED Pilote wheels. I have tried re-painting, but not very successfully. I would buy again for a 1939 11B with red wheels.
